Staff Pick Notes

Liter bottle? Check. Medium-bodied and decent acidity? Check. Under 20$. Check. This is the bottle I'm popping open on a Saturday evening with friends at a table laden with every kind of sausage imaginable. Maybe toss in some sauerkraut and buttered rolls to boot. This wine boasts a lovely minerality and is wonderfully expressive of tart black cherries and playful black pepper notes that we've come to love so much in Blaufränkisch. Highly quaffable at a great price-point, there really isn't much to miss here. This is a bottle I'll be visiting again.

Blauer Zweigelt), which yields full-bodied wines, deep in color and featuring bold flavors of...
