Staff Pick Notes

Delicious sparkling wine from New Mexico? Leave it to a Champagne native to recognize great terroir where you'd least expect it—100 miles south of Albuquerque near the town of Truth or Consequences. Gilbert Gruet planted his vines back in the early 80s and soon began making sparkling wine in the classic méthode champenoise style. This Blanc de Noir is a blend of 75% Pinot Noir, 25% Chardonnay and is bone dry with fine bubbles and notes of lemon pith, apple skin, raspberry, and a mineral streak.
