Shipping Policies

All deliveries require an adult signature.

You must be at least 21 years of age to purchase and receive wine and spirits.

Orders going to Manhattan, Queens, or Brooklyn will be delivered via Astor Wines & Spirits truck or messenger service. All other orders will ship via FedEx or UPS ground. Shipments going to states other than New York may take up to 13 business days. Please read our policies below:

• You must be at least 21 years of age to purchase and receive wine and spirits. All deliveries require an adult signature.
• During extreme weather, we will gladly hold your purchases until we can ensure safer travel. If you opt to have your order shipped during extreme weather, Astor Wines & Spirits cannot assume responsibility for the condition of your merchandise upon delivery.
• For local deliveries via Astor Wines & Spirits truck or messenger, if no one is available to accept your shipment, you may be subject to a $20 charge for re-delivery. For orders sent via UPS or FedEx, if no one is available to accept your shipment, you may be liable for the costs to reship the order.
• For orders being shipped outside New York State, title to, and ownership of, all alcoholic beverages passes from Astor Wines & Spirits to the buyer in New York State. Therefore, New York State sales tax is applied to your order.
• For an additional 1% of your order’s value, you can insure your FedEx or UPS shipments. This will cover loss or breakage. By refusing insurance, you relieve Astor Wines & Spirits of any and all responsibility for breakage or loss of your order.
