Tasting Notes

A white Priorat with stunning minerality and concentration. Made from Pedro Ximénez and Muscat d'Alexandria, this wine has an exotic nose and rich palate. Whole cluster fermentation is allowed to occur spontaneously, then finished in a concrete tank for pure fruit flavor.

Staff Pick Notes

Wanna experience a rainbow fireworks explosion in your brain like in the cartoons? Try this white Priorat! Started by Eben Sadie and Dominik Huber, Terroir al Limit is a small Catalonia winery that works biodynamically to create delicate vin de terroir. Instead of making the heavy traditional Priorat wine, Dominik makes more sophisticated wine. Made from the Pedro Ximenez and Muscat of Alexandria grapes, this white Priorat has powerful exotic fruits with layers of flavors. The grapes come from schist, clay and limestone soils at an altitude of approximately 400-600 meters. The grapes are pressed two weeks after maceration and then aged for a year in a concrete tank. A must try for white wine skin contact lovers.

In 2003, Priorat was awarded the prestigious D.O.C. status - a term previously held only...

Many of the best examples come from the region of Montilla, and are thus not technically classified as Sherries. PX’s are intensely, almost syrupy sweet, and are ideal drizzled over vanilla ice cream (or over...
