If you have ever tasted Demerara sugar then you can assume that the flavors of a rum based on this type of sugar will deliver the same intense, rich, and characteristically "fruity" notes. El Dorado rums are made utilizing different stills acquired from producers in Guyana who have closed their doors for good. Nine different types of stills are on the property. The pot stills used create heavy, concentrated, and intensely aromatic distillates. The column stills yield a very clean and delicate spirits. Blended together these two types of spirits form a complex balanced, and elegant rum.
