The BenRiach 18yr Single Cask Scotch Whisky - 1995
Item # 32470
750mL
Tasting Notes
After collaborating with Master Distiller Billy Walker on two very different single cask exclusives of The Glendronach, this unforgettable cask of Benriach rounds out the trio. This 1995 expression was aged for 18 years and finished in a tawny Port cask. Unblended and undiluted, the natural strength has retained the full complexity of this remarkable spirit. Red stone fruits and berries are side by side with notes of green pepper, Christmas cake, and roasted coffee beans. The flavors follow the aromas with the additional flavors of fudge, molasses, and candied peach.

Staff Pick Notes
Being rather new to cask-strength Speyside whisky, my first swallow of this huge sipper was like drinking from the firehose. A split second after, my mouth exploded in a glorious kaleidoscope of flavours, coming in wave after wave of deliciousness. Truly a gift that kept on giving!
Chocolate cherries, snickerdoodles, crème brûlée, root beer, and fresh walnuts overwhelmingly steal the show here. Finishing this sassy old fella in Tawny Port casks brings dried fruit character, with ginger spice and sweet white pepper to the mix. Grab this bottle for a special experience that your mouth and mind will long cherish. Alyson N.
