Made with a base of rum barrels aged a minimum of 8yrs and blended with techniques passed down from Haiti by rum maker Herbert Barbancourt-Linge's ancestors, the rum is notably more aromatic than the standard Dark and a touch spicier. On last tasting we were reminded of notes of hazelnut butter, fresh dates, dark vanilla, burnt caramel and toasted coconut.
