Tasting Notes

Perhaps the most sought after in the entire range of Octomore releases, the Islay Barley is made from barley grown on James Brown's Ocotomore farm just down the road from the distillery. The malt for this bottling is completely separate from everything else produced here from start to finish and an unequivocal expression of Islay terroir. Aged 5yrs, peated at 194ppm and bottled at a natural cask strength of 61.7% abv. Available in very limited quantities.
