Fun and festive, this magnum from Itami Onigoroshi is my favorite to share at gatherings. A touch of honeyed-sweetness brings to life this rich, mineral, yet bone-dry sake, making it a fantastic pairing for hors d’oeuvres and snacks. While arguably not our most refined or elegant Japanese brew, Itami’s magnum makes is tons more approachable and playful than stuffy and polished daiginjos. Pick one up for your next shindig and do that off-beat, ironic thing you do.
