If you pick up a bottle of Smith and Cross rum, I will bet 50 cents that you will always want to have in your pantry or on your bar. Its blend is predominantly from the revered Hampden distillery of Jamaica. It has that unapologetic Jamaican punch of esters that is well integrated with the barrel aging. If sipped on neat, you'll find layers of flavors like banana pudding, flan, vanilla cake, overripe pineapple, cotton candy, and the estery rubber cement. Its aromas and flavors are robust and intense and will dominate any cocktail you use it for. Just what I want my rum to do. One of the best quality to price ratios in the store.
