A lusty, dark wine of nearly 100% Gaglioppo form the rocky, remote region of Calabria giving heady tones of black cherries, leaves and anise. A shimmering bright cherry acidity keeps all its lush fruit tones reigned in while a persistent finish tinged with bitter pits demand a plate of rustic vegetables, olives and herbs. This wine was produced exclusively from the Gaglioppo grape (on occasion perhaps 5% Greco Nero may find its way into the blend),
