This very special rum is made from 100% molasses and was aged for 15 years in ex-bourbon barrels in Jamaica. It has a complex flavor profile with notes of ripe tropical fruit, banana, mango, and brown sugar. The finish is long and balanced with oak and tobacco leaf. The rums of Long Pond are the stuff of legend both for their quintessential Jamaican character and for their rarity. Holmes Cay has unearthed a true gem and left it untouched without additives at cask strength so the glory of this distiller could shine through.
