One of the rarest and most exceptional Japanese Whiskies ever created without a doubt. This one will go down in the hall of fame most certainly. This expression is a blend of five malt and grain whiskies from three Suntory distilleries: Yamazaki: Single malt whiskies distilled in 1978, 1980, and 1983, aged in American oak, Spanish oak, or mizunara oak barrels Hakushu: A peated single malt from 1974 (the oldest component in the blend) Chita: Grain whiskies from 1979 and 19811 The blend contains whiskies aged between 40 and 49 years old.
