This bourbon comes from barrels that were resting at the Stitzel-Weller distillery, the old home of Pappy Van Winkle. Exceptionally well-balanced for an American whiskey this old, the nose smells wonderfully of grapes, dried flowers, and fresh potpourri. The spirit is enlivened on the palate and gracefully works its way to the soft, baking spice finish.
