A very rich style of saké, in part due to the fact that it is undiluted (Genshu). A beautifully textured saké with refreshing, fruit-driven aromas. Drink chilled.
You may have noticed that Astor Wines and Spirits has a phenomenal sake selection, but I have to single out my favorite: Narutotai Saké, Ginjo Nama Genshu. Nama means unpasturized, Genshu means undiluted, and yes, it does look like an oil can. I have to single out this sake because I love the texture that comes with nama genshu's: rich, full bodied and smooth. Go to your favorite Ramen BYOB restaurant with this bottle in hand tonight.
