Founded in 1996 the Nastro D'Oro Distillery is located on the golden ribbon of land in this pictaresque part of Italy just as you reach the Campania coast with the island of Capri within sight. For over two decades the distillery has been dedicated to the procurment of the best ingredients for the production of the highest quality, authentic Italian spirits. All of the raw materials used for this amaro were meticulously sourced and harvested on the nearby mount of San Costanzo. The spirit is one of the best balanced amaro we have ever tasted with a seamless integration of flavors that includes spearmint, candy cane, citrus zest, tar, cola and ground spices.

As you can see from the plethora of Amaro staff picks on our wall, we do not shy away from these bitter sweet liquors and believe me as somebody fairly new to the category our selection is overwhelming. The biggest question is... what the heck is the difference between these darn things? Enter Nastro D'Oro. A very unique Amaro that is a great introduction as it is not too bitter, and just sweet enough if you've been burned by Fernet and the like. This liqueur has a distinct fresh crushed spearmint character with citrus and cola notes. It is distinct and surprisingly refreshing. Summer Negroni- 1oz Citadelle Jardin D'été French Gin 1oz Nastro D'Oro Arvero Campania Amaro 1oz Oka Kura Sweet Japanese Bermutto Stirred, strained, garnished with an orange peel and more fresh mint.
