Santenay, Dom. des Rouges Queues - 2020

Item # 40466 750mL

Isabelle and Jean-Yves Vantey have 6 ha of vineyards that farmed biodynamically. All fruit is harvested by hand and fermented spontaneously in a combination of stainless steel and open-top wood fermenters. This is a very pretty Santenay with red fruit and floral aromas.

Staff Pick Notes

Isabelle and Jean-Yves of Domaine des Rouges Queues are still new kids on the block compared to other producers in Burgundy. Yet when you taste their wines they seem to already have a great feel for their terroir. The Santenay is very much alive with bright red fruits, floral aromas, and an animal quality that makes me say, “Damn, that’s pretty!”
