Tasting Notes

The San Lorenzo vineyard in the commune of Verduno brings out the elegant characteristics of the Nebbiolo grape. As is traditional in Barolo, the grapes are macerated on the skins for between two and three weeks to extract color and tannins. It is important to note that the San Lorenzo bottling from Fratelli Alessandria, while it is traditional, is less austere than the Monvigliero bottling.
