Crémant wines that have a base of Chenin Blanc and Chardonnay are in my humble opinion, some of the most delicious. Crémant wines are made in the traditional method like in Champagne, but this delightful sparkler is from the Loire Valley. It alludes to all the best parts of Chenin and Chardonnay: great crisp acidity, ripe yellow apples, lemon juice and a touch of rich honey... Elegance without the price tag! Great for everyday, this will not disappoint as an aperitif with cheeses, sliced fruit and nuts, on its own, or with brunch fare.
