Grape Variety

Tasting Notes

Filippo Bottaccini is an engineer-turned-winemaker who spends plenty of time in the Sancerre and Chablis regions to better understand the Turbiana (Verdicchio) grape variety. A brilliant wine coming from a self-taught winemaker with a mere 2 ha of vines nestled on the shores of Lake Garda. This is like a Muscadet in disguise as it's full of refreshing minerals and will naturally make a good match to wash down oysters. Unoaked.

Astor's Glossary of Terms

This white Italian grape variety generally produces wines with a good amount of acidity, making it great for cutting through buttery, saucy dishes.
