What could be better on a hot summer day than an ice cold Daiquiri? How about one with a Japanese twist and a hit of summer basil? Our base is a botanical rum from Okinawa that's full of lime, ginger and pepper notes. Yuzu sake (fantastic on its own) adds a distinct citrusy deliciousness. We included Cyril Zang’s cider eau de vie (everyone should own a bottle of this) for unexpected hint of orchard fruit, and basil for an element of surprise. Somehow it all works, wonderfully. Kanpai!
