Barolo "Rive di Specola", Luigi Oddero - 2011

Item # 37872 750mL

Rive is the vineyard just beneath the tower in La Morra that is named Specola. The site is an amphitheater and is one of the prime crus for the Luigi Oddero estate located just outside of their winery. The Luigi Oddero estate started around 2004 after the brothers, Giacomo and Luigi, Oddero divided the property into two distinct estates - each of which produces incredible wines. This Rive di Specola vineyard was acquired after the Luigi Oddero estate was formed. The site is full of chalk and mineral structure. This is a Barolo that benefits with years of age.
