Tasting Notes

An elegant Auxey-Duresses dominated by floral and red fruit aromas. The grapes were fully destemmed before crushing and fermenting. The vineyard, Climat du Val, is a Premier Cru, .64 hectare holding that was planted in 1970. Fifty year old Pinot Noir vines makes for an excellent wine that can age for a good decade but drinks wonderfully after a decanting today.
