Blue Plum Brandy, known as Slivovitz in much of Eastern Europe, in France as Quetsch and in Germany as Zwetschgenwasser, is pot distilled from a pure fermented mash of Italian Blue plums grown in Oregon.

Clear Creek is one of the great names in American spirits. They were at the forefront of the craft distillation movement 20 years, before hipsters in Brooklyn started making white dog whiskey at $40 a bottle. The Blue Plum brandy is their take on the classic, old-world Slivovitz. It is supremely aromatic and has a soft, oily texture that coats your palate. It is also deceptively complex. The fruit is there on the nose, but the palate is a little savory, ethereal. It is reticent at first, but reveals itself with time in glass and a willingness to explore. Prost!
