Tasting Notes

Following up on the groundbreaking Cupreata mezcal from this historic fifth generation producer comes a very limited edition Pechuga. Beyond this being the first Pechuga release from the state of Michoacan, it is also based on the Cupreata agave as opposed to nearly all other Pechugas that are based in the much more common Espadin agave. Notes here include horchata, pine resin, vanilla, almond, wet earth, sugar cane, mineral salts and more. The spirit is supremely elegant on the palate.
