Canadian Club Whiskey

In 1858 Hiram Walker crossed the Detroit River and purchased land along the eastern shore in what is now known as the Walkerville neighborhood of Windsor, Ontario. Canadian Club Whiskey was born due to Prohibition era laws in the US. Hiram Walker made an unique product in that he distilled the 3 grains separately (corn, rye and malted barley) and then blended and aged the 3 spirits in white oak for 5 years for added colour and flavour This was unheard of at the time. Hiram Walker was the first to individually bottle, label and seal his whiskey revolutionizing the industry. The Whiskey is a bright gold colour with a refreshing smooth flavour, with hints of almonds and pepper on the nose.
