It is with zero shame that I recommend this candy-green projection of melon, called Midori. Green melon is popular a flavor in Japan, where the liqueur is made. There, the fruit is held in high esteem. While there's certainly a sugary, sweet edge to Midori, I love balancing it with citrus in a sour. Try equal parts gin, lime, and Midori shaken and strained. Or, swap out gin for tequila, and you've got a fun twist on the Margarita.
