This spiced rum had me at hello. Tons of tropical fruits like mango, pineapple, and papaya are found aromatically with baking spices and oranges zest coming out to play. As with other releases, the unique blend of rich molasses and agricole rums made here make for a well rounded and unexpectedly complex drinking experience.

Staff Pick Notes

Spiced rum is very special to me. Growing up, my grandparents were avid Jack Daniel and spiced rum drinkers. The aroma of both transports me back to family events and holidays at their house. And while their spiced rum of choice wasn't Chairman's Reserve (an issue that will be soon rectified), this spiced rum takes me back all the same. The smell is intoxicating and the flavor is deep and dark. The texture is pleasant and goes down dangerously easy. A shot of this in your ginger beer and you're in for an explosion of flavor. Chairman's Reserve Spiced Rum is a winner, in my book.
