Elijah Craig 10 Yr. Barrel Proof Bourbon

I would be remiss to not speak on one of the greatest values in all of bourbon. Heaven Hill’s Elijah Craig Barrel Proof (or ECBP as it is often shorthanded) is released three times a year with different batches of various barrel proofs, all non-chill filtered using bourbons aged 12 years. Since you’re getting something directly bottled from the barrel, it is monstrously high in alcohol, so this isn't a dram to be taken lightly, pair with some water to tame the beast. As every batch is different and unique, they will always present altering sets of notes, but some things that one can expect are rich vanilla, caramel, roasted peanuts, butterscotch, orchard fruit, dusted chocolate and a heavy, concentrated barrel char influence. For the price, it can't be beat!
