Made by a multi-generation family producer of Cognac that sells their brandy to be blended off in Rémy Martin, Brenne's organic barley is grown and harvested on the family's estate and distilled in traditional Charentais still. After aging in a combination of new French oak and used Cognac casks, the whisky is bottled at 80 proof. Inviting notes of preserved cherries and brown sugar come together with sweet malty notes on the mid-palate. This is a yummy, fun-to-drink style of whisky.
