This historic multi-century distillery turned museum turned distillery was re-opened by Guillermo Sauza of the great Sauza family, legendary growers and producers of some of the finest tequilas on the planet. With the sole inent of returning to their roots and producing top shelf tequila using only the traditional, handmade methods Fortaleza is widely considered one of the highest quality tequilas available. The anejo is the most decadent of the trilogy with a full body of flavors that include butterscotch, baking spices, sweet cooked agave, flamed citrus peels vanilla and more.
