Looking for Buffalo Trace? Try this instead. Same price, higher proof, and absolutely full of flavor. What about this bourbon do I find appealing...I like that David Nicholson Reserve holds up on the rocks and is denser than many (of my beloved) bottom-shelf bourbons. The mash bill is rye weighted but taste-wise remains solidly in bourbon territory. For an everyday American classic to sip after work or keep in your decanter, give this whiskey a whirl.
