François Le Saint is a 10th-generation family estate located in the heart of Sancerre, with a focus on Sauvignon Blanc and the various soils that express the intricacies of this beautiful grape. This bottling showcases the pure chalk soils created from ancient limestone, which bring forth a vibrant minerality in addition to wonderful aromas and flavors of citrus and orchard fruits. Brothers Jean-Michel and Paul Fouassier have converted their vineyards to organic farming while utilizing biodynamic principles. Fermenting with native yeasts also brings a terroir-specific uniqueness to this wine, while minimal sulfur additions keep the vibrancy of this cuvée fully in focus. Overall, this is a tremendous example of Sancerre from one of the most historical families in the region who have tended these vines for over 100 years!
