Fortaleza Winter Blend 2019 Reposado Tequila

Great things tend to come in small quantities and that can certainly be said for the great tequilas of Fortaleza. Each year the demand goes up and due to their dedication to ancient artisan methods, the production remains limited. Any special bottlings that come around like this one are worthy of your attention. For the 2019 Winter Blend, spirit aged for 6 months in American Oak was then finished for 11 months in French Oak casks, far exceeding the requirement for Reposado (as well an anejo for that matter) and then bottled at a full cask proof. This is a very special tequila. Supplies are very limited.
