Arguably the biggest and best overhaul of the Small Batch range from Beam takes this long overlooked excellent whiskey in its own right and gives it a its proper due. Every bottling going forward will be a minimum of 7yrs old and bottled as a single barrel. The flavors are like a greatest hits of bourbon with apples, autumn leaves, caramel, vanilla, clove, nutmeg in copious amounts. You definitely want to drink this whiskey.

One of the newest bourbons on our shelves, the Baker's Single Barrel instantly is also now one of our best. This bold yet balanced beast of a whiskey is strikingly smooth in spite of its 53.5% ABV, checking every flavor box that bourbon lovers seek: toasted brown sugar, fall spices, caramel, vanilla, apple, and a nice hint of smoke from 8+ years in charred American oak. Nice length and warmth on the finish as well. Jim Beam is transitioning from small batch to single barrel bottlings, a very welcome change indeed. My dad always had a bottle of Baker's small batch in his cabinet and it always caught my attention when I was growing up. I know he would have loved this Single Barrel, and I know that you'll love it too.
