Teeda Japanese Rum

Made at the Helios Distillery & Brewery founded by Tadashi Matsuda in 1961 on Okinawa where the local and distinctive cane varieties grow in abundance. Made entirely of indigenous cane, the pot distilled spirit is aged exclusively on the island in ex-American Oak casks for a minimum of three years before blending and bottling. We found notes that reminded us of yuzu salt, cinnamon raisin bread, allspice, maple syrup, ginger tea laced with honey, vanilla bean custard and coconut oil. Available in limited quantities.
