Fruktstereo, Cider Maybe?

If you know Swedish cider makers Fruktstereo, you probably love their music-album-inspired labels. You also probably know that their ciders are weird but immensely drinkable, with fruit and funk aligned—stylistically drinking more like pét-nat than traditional ciders. Everything Fruktstereo does is made with wild fermentation and zero additives at any point. And that's very much what you're getting here. This bottle, which kinda sorta looks like fresh carrot juice, actually has pear as a base, along with the semi-obscure Solaris grape, which thrives so well in cold climates that you can find it in vineyards across Sweden, Denmark, and Norway. The low-alcohol (5.5%) cider tastes like stonefruit, mango, and, yes, pears, with a twinge of volatile, vinegar-ish acidity that keeps you coming back for more.
