Utilizing their proprietary mash of 60% rye, 20% corn, and 20% malted barley, this whiskey was distilled and aged at the spectacularly revived Castle & Key (formerly Old Taylor) distillery in Kentucky. The majority of this whiskey was aged for 3.5yrs with the balance coming in at 2.5yrs prior to bottling at 49% abv. The whiskey sings with bright notes that span an impressive range of classic rye notes from herbal eucalyptus, fresh licorice mint and citrus peels to sweet vanilla and whole spices. Well done.
