You had me at liter. Well Luxembourg is basically only known for being a very small country, leftover from a bygone age. The Grand Duchy of Lux is well situated for grape growing with the famous river of Mosel cutting right on through. Among the about 3000 acres of vineyards, Elbling is the most common white wine grape and has been grown in the region since Roman times. Elbling produces a light dry crisp wine that goes well with most lighter fare and days off with feet up.
