One of the first, and unexpected, things Guillaume Drouin did when he began to take the reigns from his father Christian, was create not a calvados but this head turning gin. Made from a base of cider from their own apples and a botanical recipe of juniper, ginger, vanilla, citron, cardamom, cinnamon, rose petals and almonds. Each ingredient is meticulously and separately distilled in small direct wood fired copper pot stills before carefully being blended together to form the final gin. A remarkable spirit.

Christian Drouin worked hard to find ingredients that worked well together with apple flavors. He distilled separately several plants and selected eight of them to create this amazing gin. He made small batches of each of these eight ingredients trying to find the right balance: rose and lemon provide delicacy; ginger, vanilla, cinnamon and almonds give spicy notes. And finally, juniper and apple give strength to this gin. This spirit offers an amazing range of flavors. The producer's hard work and creativity paid off. You can enjoy this drink by itself or you can experiment, mixing it with other products in cocktails, like he did, searching for the ingredients!
