This single cask comes from the Domaine Couloumé in Tenareze from a single vintage and single cask. Aged for 31yrs and bottled at cask strength without filtration or addtives. Dark in color but remarkably vibrant aromatics this is a masterclass in the terroir driven nature of Armagnac that speaks not only to the specific domaine and vintage but what that is like when married to the inimitable local black gascon oak. You'll find notes of espresso, manadarin orange, mille-feuille with layers of fresh sweet cream topped with ripe blackberries – the palate is seamless with the alcohol fully integrated.
