The 6 & 7yr majority components of this bottling have a unique medium rye high barley mashbill that proved perfect for the additional year they spent finishing in Goose Island Stout Casks. The finished whiskey was then blended with a big 9yr old batch of Bourbon for good measure. Bottled at a natural cask strength of 50% abv. This still fledgling distiller continues to push the envelop when it comes to walking the line between textbook, well made, well aged traditional Bourbons and innovative, experimental new flavors and methods.
