Speaking directly to the mission of one off creations never to be repeated, this release of Blood Oath really delivers something unique. Created from some of the rarest stocks on hand the three component whiskies masterfully brought together for this expression were a very old batch of 16yr Bourbon, a lot of 12yr Bourbon in a sweet spot flavor wise, and a younger batch of 7yr finished in Oloroso Sherry Casks. Bottled at a natural cask strength of 49.3% abv. One of the finer showings yet for this series. Very limited.
