Kamet Single Malt Whisky

If you're having a difficult time finding Indri's Trini or simply want to try another, amazing, premium Indian single malt, look no further.  Kamet is produced at the same famous Piccadily distillery as Indri from the same indigenous, high protein/high enzyme six-row barley, and aged in wine, bourbon, and sherry casks. It’s named for Mt. Kamet, the third highest peak in the Himalayas, whose 'glaciers of fire' catch the sun at dawn and dusk and bathe the mountain in a fiery glow. I thought how beautiful this must be as I nursed my dram, which delivers a vinous fruity profile with gorgeous citrus, notes of hazelnut raisin chocolate and hints of tropical fruit and spice.
