As natural as a collaboration as there's ever been, this limited edition whisky brings together two legends of smoke - one in the form of iconic 200 year old Islay distiller and Laphroaig and the second - world reknowned master chef of the open flame, Francis Mallman. For this Mallman, working with the Laphroaig team on Islay, selected a 17yr old lot of whisky that was the finished in white Madeira wine casks and bottled at cask strength. Honeyed malt, rich notes of heather, citrus groves and that quintessential Laphroaig peat are met with a complex array of spices unlike any other we've tasted in previous expressions.
