The Hakushu 2024 Tsukuriwake 18yr Peated Malt Japanese Single Malt Whisky

Part of the annual Tsukuriwake Series from the House of Suntory that is meant to showcase the widest ranges and deepest depths of whisky making possible at this storied company's distilleries. To do so, Master Blender Shinji Fukuyo is given free reign to create complete unique one-off expressions. For this release, the variables are many and drawn from the self purported 100 plus styles of whisky they are capable of creating here, including variations in peat levels and types of peat, all the way through to yeasts, fermentation methods, modifications in distillation and maturation. A must have for collector's and serious whisky connoisseurs.
