Interestingly the recipe is supposedly based on that of a Canadian Monk. Nonethless the focus like other bitter elixirs from those orders is one focused on purity and potency with notes that wake up every nook and cranny of your palate. The labels for these old, rare bottles have seen a little wear from the decades in cellar but the closures are intact, fills above nexk and the strong abv. of 38% means the liquid is almost certainly perfect.
