Willett Astor Select 12yr Single Barrel Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey

Unbelievably, this isn't even our oldest barrel this year from Willett. However it is the lowest yielding, by far, with a total output of only 90 bottles! The lower yield has clearly tranformed this whiskey in major ways from the extra oxygenation to the deeper impact of the oak the whiskey is marked with peaks and valleys of serious but decadent notes of dark cocoa, sweet tobacco, creme brulee, even marzipan, clover honey and grilled sourdough bread slathered in melted butter. Unreal. Barrel No. 4057 bottled uncut at a natural barrel proof of 65.7% abv.
