This is Mascarello's flagship wine, consistently one of the finest and most expressive single vineyard Barolos to be found. Reticent in its youth, with cellaring the Monprivato gains weight and depth and reveals a very precise and structured character with aromas of rose petals, currants and cherries. This wine has decades of positive evolution yet to come, but can certainly be enjoyed now with adequate aeration.
