I'm not too fussy about my tequilas, as I primarily use them as a base for my simple cocktails. When I asked a colleague for a good value tequila for mixing, without hesitation, he handed me a bottle of Cimarron Blanco. I went home and made a batch of margaritas, and as soon as I twisted the cap off, I was seduced by the wafts of roasted agave that tickled my nose. The fruity, spicy character of the tequila really asserts itself mixing with other ingredients. My margaritas have never been better. Don't overlook sipping this neat, as you’ll enjoy its smooth profile and flavors of grilled pineapple, grass, and hints of white pepper and honey. Blanco

White tequila, an official type (tipo) for tequila bottled fresh from the still, or allowed to rest in stainless steel tanks for up to sixty days before bottling. It is never aged in wooden barrels. Also known as plata, plato, and silver tequila. Usually the most robust, strong-flavoured of the tequila types.
